The Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA)

Welcome back! We have been extremely busy here at Jangro HQ. Attending The Manchester Cleaning Show has been a particular highlight and it was great to meet so many like-minded companies to Jangro.

This week I’m here to tell you all about the Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) and how it give its members’ customers, like Jangro’s, the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to purchasing cleaning and hygiene products and equipment.

Who are the CHSA?

The CHSA represents major manufacturers and distributors of the cleaning industry, from global companies and national networks like Jangro to privately owned independent businesses, providing high standards to ensure buyers of cleaning products get what they are paying for.

How it works

As a member of the CHSA, Jangro ensure all of its manufacturers of its Jangro branded products such as soft tissue products, plastic refuse sacks and industrial cotton mops, are also members.

CHSA audit all of Jangro’s manufacturers through the Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Scheme to ensure that the specification and quality that is printed on all packaging is exactly what is inside. This auditing process stops manufacturers from selling products such as toilet roll as a 300-sheet item when really it is only a 200-sheet.

Each CHSA scheme guarantees:

  • A consistency of supply, meaning customers receive exactly what they ordered
  • An accurate labelling system, which highlights to customers what is inside the packaging
  • Fully audited manufacturers, ensuring all customers get what they pay for
