In with the new!

It’s that time of year when we look ahead to what’s around the corner for Jangro. We are constantly updating what we offer through our group, which is the largest network of janitorial distributors in the UK and Ireland. Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn for some exciting launches planned for 2017.

A date for your diaries should be The Cleaning Show 2017, which takes place from 14 to 16 March at Excel London. Jangro’s stand is number F05, and the stand itself is sure to be a talking point – let’s just say you won’t be able to miss us!

We will be launching our new Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies 2017/18 Catalogue at the show, which will include details of our latest Washroom Dispenser range, the new Workwear range, and a revamped Jangronaut children’s dispenser range.

The catalogue sections cover products for Washroom, Housekeeping, Kitchen Hygiene, Floor Care, Waste Management, Industrial Cleaning & Wiping, Nursing & Care, Health & Safety, PPE and Workwear.

Also featured will be soaps produced by the social enterprise group Clarity, which employs, trains and supports people with disabilities to create high quality products.

We are excited to be attending the show, and our dedicated representatives will be on hand to answer any questions about new and existing products offered by the network, and about Jangro’s other activities. These include our award-winning suite of free e-learning training courses, Learning Management Solutions (LMS).

What else are we planning in the New Year? Here are some teasers for other new products that we have up our sleeves:

  • Keep your ears pricked for a new luxury toilet tissue range… the bunnies are coming!
  • An update to our Jangronauts children’s hand wash range – keeping little hands clean.

And there will be plenty more besides. We are excited about championing best practice in cleaning throughout the UK. Watch this space for further details.

Wishing everyone in our supply chain a fun and relaxing festive season from the Jangro team.

Quality control

Here at Jangro, we have responsibilities to the cleaning industry and the environment to uphold, and as such we have built quality and sustainability into our business model.

Representing a dynamic force in the cleaning supply industry, our network of independent janitorial distributors is the largest in the UK and Ireland.

We have very tight quality control procedures in place to make sure that only the most effective cleaning agents and products reach our customers.

High standards

Our business complies with recognised quality standards such as BS EN ISO 9001:2000 model for production, installation and servicing. We are part of a supply chain, and take this role very seriously. By having stringent standards in place, we take the burden off our distributors and give them confidence in the products we are offering.

Establishing, documenting, maintaining and continually improving our quality management system is at the heart of our business. And it’s no mean feat – complying with these standards means we need to have the skills and resources in place to identify and trial new products, and to plan a quality management system to ensure requirements are met.

This includes monitoring customer satisfaction and the prevention of any non-conformance with quality standards. Offering high quality products not only gives us a strong competitive advantage, but it also brings many other benefits.

A business model

As well as providing better products to end users, this ethos also ensures quality consciousness throughout our business, from product selection to customer service and training options.

The Jangro Learning Management Solution training programme is an essential part of our customer service package, which includes a variety of comprehensive training courses including Introduction to Cleaning, Washroom Hygiene and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Awareness.

Our focus on quality also means we strive to minimise wastage and inefficiency of every kind. Buying behaviour is changing, as purchasers of cleaning products become more aware of how their choices can ultimately impact both their local environment and the wider world, and begin to choose more sustainable options.

The best cleaning product suppliers will not only recognise this as a business opportunity, but will also have realised that they cannot just give lip service to sustainability and quality control, and must have systems in place that thoroughly back up their claims.
