Raising the standards of LMS

Online training CPD accredited

Have you heard our exciting news?

We are thrilled to announce that our innovative e-training platform, the LMS (Learning Management Solution), has been awarded CPD status. CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is an established, national accreditation operating across industry sectors helping to develop staff with the skills and knowledge required within their organisations.

Our customers and regular readers of the blog will know that, here at Jangro, we are passionate about making high quality and ongoing training as accessible as possible. After all, well-skilled staff not only achieve a high quality clean every time, but also ensure the health and safety of all the workforce and indeed, all the occupants of a building.

The LMS is designed to give clients the tools to get their teams fully trained quickly, so that they can offer the very best cleaning service possible. We are so proud that it has been recognised by the CPD Certification Service. This accreditation offers additional assurance that our training modules are relevant and of high quality and integrity, enabling operatives to stay up to date.

12 modules have gained CPD certification. These include:

The LMS is available for free to all of our customers and their staff, and is optimised for all devices. Users may even sign in with their social media log-ins, enabling even quicker and easier access to best practice and advice. One of the many benefits of the LMS is that course lengths vary, with users able to train remotely at times that suit them. This allows them to dip in and out of sessions as required, making learning highly flexible and accessible.

Stay Safe Online

cyber security course

Cyber Security is a growing concern for many businesses. In recent years, we have seen a rapid increase in cyber-attacks, causing significant issues to many organisations.

There is so much cyber security advice available these days and many people find it hard to know where to start. Some organisations struggle to explain why cyber security is something that all staff should care about. Even larger organisations with dedicated training resources find it difficult to explain the technical aspects of cyber security in ways that are relevant to their staff, so that they can help keep their organisations safe from cyber-attack.

Regardless of the type or size of the organisation you work for, it is increasingly important to understand why your businesses might be vulnerable to cyber-attacks, and how to defend yourself if one should occur.

Regular readers of our blog will know that, at Jangro, we are passionate about training. This is why we have expanded our unique and innovative e-learning system, LMS (Learning Management Solution) with a new module dedicated to Cyber Security. The module, ‘Stay Safe Online: Top Tips for Staff’ was produced by NCSC and takes no longer than 30 minutes to complete.

The course introduces why cyber security is important and how attacks happen, and then covers four key areas:

  • defending yourself against phishing
  • using strong passwords
  • securing your devices
  • reporting incidents (‘if in doubt, call it out’)
